We’ve missed you!

The Telegraph has been dark and cold without you here. In fact, from SAAG down to Plum, our block of 6th Street has been remarkably quiet.

But now, with spring in the air and all the flowers opening, the busy denizens of Lethbridge have hit the streets along with those buzzing bees. And we are overjoyed that we can open once again to serve you!

Of course, not everything is going to be the same.

Just like life, The telegraph won’t be back to normal for quite some time. But, we are going to be cooking up the same delicious food, and offering the same great beer in the middle of a slowly wakening downtown Lethbridge.

As we re-open, we’ll be making changes to ensure everyone who comes through our doors, from guests to servers, stays as safe as possible.

We’ve outlined the two biggest changes bellow.

1. Reservations Recommended

One of the biggest changes you’ll notice as soon as you come into the restaurant is our reduced seating capacity.

Due to new safety requirements, and our dedication to flattening the curve, our tables need to maintain a certain distance from each other. So, fewer people can fit inside our space.

What that means for you is that space in our dining room will fill up very fast, so we strongly recommend making a reservation before you come in. Taking this extra step will also be a huge help to us as we work to create a safe, enjoyable atmosphere in our restaurant. By making a reservation, you’ll give us a better understanding of how each day will look, which will allow us to find the balance we need during this tumultuous time, and ease tensions as we try to find a new normal.

2. Weekend Brunch is on Hold – But We’re Still Open Weekend Mornings!

We love weekend brunch, so it’s with a heavy heart that we are putting it on hold until things get up and running.

It’s been one of the most difficult parts of re-opening; letting down our weekend morning crowd, those bleary-eyed customers tumbling in for their classic weekend wake-up.

That being said, there are still some great breakfast foods on the regular menu. A few of our favourites are:

  • The Clubhouse Sandwich – With eggs, bacon, bread, and potatoes (in the form of fries) the clubhouse sandwich comes with all the ingredients that make up that classic, ‘stick to your bones’ breakfast.
  • Bacon-wrapped Pierogies (with a side of eggs) – For those willing to get a bit more creative, our pierogies with eggs give you those some great breakfast ingredients (without the bread). And the Chipolte mayo dipping sauce doesn’t hurt one bit.
  • Beermosa – Sometimes all you need for breakfast is a little OJ and beer.

It’s All About You

We’ve put a lot of work over many years into making The Telegraph an amazing hangout spot, but this pause has really driven home that we exist because of customers – so it should be all about them, AKA, YOU! We could have the best atmosphere in town, along with great beers and a menu to match, but without you here, it all falls flat.

Thanks, Lethbridge. We look forward to seeing you soon!
